Shibuya, the NFT-based video platform, has collaborated with the Bruce Lee Estate to create a Web3 presence for the legendary martial artist. The collaboration has resulted in the release of “House of Lee: Genesis,” an Ethereum NFT that showcases Lee’s artwork.
Hand-drawn by Emily “pplpleasr” Yang, the NFT features anime-based presentation and is designed in collaboration with Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter, and founder and President of the Bruce Lee Estate.

The open edition Ethereum NFT is available for purchase at 0.008 ETH, or over $15, and buyers can purchase an unlimited number of them until the minting ends. The NFT is said to be a “ticket to the House of Lee,” but the Bruce Lee Estate has yet to announce any plans or utility for the non-fungible token.
This NFT release marks the first step in the Web3 partnership between Shibuya and the Bruce Lee Estate. Shibuya is dedicated to creating an original video series that will allow NFT holders to have a say in the production process.
Shibuya’s first anime-style series, White Rabbit, allows NFT holders to choose the narrative course at the end of each segment. Steve Aoki and Seth Green’s Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ latest series, “Dominion X: Level 2,” enabled NFT holders to vote on the conclusion of each new stop-motion animated segment produced every week.
Shibuya recently disclosed a $6.9 million seed round co-led by Variant Fund and Andreessen Horowitz in December 2022. While it remains unclear whether Bruce Lee’s video content will follow the same model, the teaser clip reveals that Shibuya is working on Bruce Lee animation.
The teaser clip is scheduled to air during the NFT.NYC conference at Times Square in New York City this week. Bruce Lee’s legacy continues to live on, and his fans will be excited to see what’s next in store for the martial arts legend.
